Primary Contact Physiotherapist

This is a temporary part-time physiotherapy position that will provide high-quality services to patients presenting to the Westmead Hospital Emergency Department.
The successful candidate must have a tertiary qualification in physiotherapy and be registered with AHPRA. They should also possess significant clinical experience in physiotherapy, particularly in emergency departments or as primary contact practitioners treating complex cases.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality physiotherapy services to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Collaborate effectively with medical, nursing, and community teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and implement effective clinical physiotherapy policies and procedures.
- Conduct quality improvement initiatives and service evaluations.
- Significant clinical experience in physiotherapy.
- Substantial experience working in emergency departments or as primary contact practitioners.
- Extensive post-graduate clinical experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
- Excellent negotiation, decision-making, and advocacy skills.
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
