We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our team as a Disability Support Service Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
The purpose of this role is to assist the service function of the business in achieving day-to-day operational effectiveness in line with the business requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring that information and data collected is accurate and up-to-date, providing reports as requested for research, funding requirements, and service evaluation and development.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong stakeholder management skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. As a Disability Support Service Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of support workers, provide professional development opportunities, and ensure that participants receive the best possible support.
Main Responsibilities:
- Comply with legislative and administrative requirements
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date information and data
- Provide reports for research, funding, and service evaluation
- Liaise with stakeholders, including NDIS planners, LACs, Govt agencies, and staff
- Recruit and manage a team of support workers
- Develop and implement individualized service plans
- Participate in weekend on-call rosters and management meetings
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role
- Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS
- Support work experience (desirable)
- Min qualification: Diploma in Disability Support, Mental Health, Community Services, or similar
- Mandatory requirements: Working with children checks card, Australia's drivers licence, NDIS worker screening, First Aid certificate, COVID-19 double vaccination, Proof of rights to work in Australia
- Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office
