Mine Production Leader Position

This is a key leadership position in the underground mining operations team. The successful candidate will have strong operational mining experience, including hard rock environments.
About This Role- Develop and implement short-term mine scheduling, including weekly and monthly development and production planning.
- Oversee drill and blast design and charge-up planning aligned with contractor capabilities.
- Review and update short-term mine designs and Plans of Intent (POIs).
- Collaborate closely with technical services, contractors, and operations teams to ensure plan execution.
- Monitor daily operational performance and reconcile outputs against production targets.
- Promote and uphold Health Safety Environment Culture (HSEC) standards to drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Manage and develop a small team of mining engineers.
- Contribute to the growth of our new mine project.
- Lead on-site technological improvement projects.
- Be developed into a future mining leader with a formal succession plan.
- A tertiary qualification in mining engineering or a related field.
- Completion of underground practical time to qualify for a First Class Mine Manager's Certificate.
- Proficiency with mining software package.
- Current C-class manual driver's licence.
