About the Role

The Chief Sustainability and Governance Officer leads a team of three in developing and implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies that align with climate risk management and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver ESG strategies to strengthen sustainability outcomes and meet evolving reporting needs.
  • Provide expert advice to executives and the Board on climate risk, sustainability opportunities, and compliance obligations.
  • Oversee the maintenance and continuous improvement of the environmental management system, ensuring it meets organisational needs.
  • Collaborate with industry, regulators, and consultants to ensure alignment with best practice.
  • Support capability building across the organisation to increase awareness and application of sustainability principles.
