About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Scientist to join our team. As an integral member of our environmental research group, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and monitoring field trials to improve environmental performance.

Reporting to the Environmental Research Manager, you will collaborate closely with external research partners to co-design studies that meet end-user needs. Your findings will be communicated to influence operational practices and drive ecological innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement large-scale field trials and vegetation surveys with minimum supervision.
  • Conduct data analysis using appropriate statistical methods.
  • Communicate research findings through presentations, reports, and publications.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A PhD or Masters by Research in Ecology or Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Flora research experience with a keen knowledge of the WA flora.
  • A background in mining rehabilitation with knowledge of GIS would be considered desirable.
