We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team at Blackbook Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing maintenance strategies that foster a proactive and preventative maintenance culture.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement O&M and reliability planning, as well as manage technical data.
- Create training plans and programs for operations and maintenance teams.
- Support the execution of maintenance and reliability tasks.
- Prioritize risk management, loss elimination, and life cycle asset management.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis and solve problems effectively.
- Continuously improve operation and maintenance plans, SOPs, and SWMS.
- Perform DFMEA, reliability modeling, life cycle costing, and spares provisioning analysis, along with providing recommendations.
- Establish and maintain a Spare Parts Management system.
You will be responsible for upholding and ensuring compliance with all Environment, Health & Safety management systems while promoting a strong EHS culture. Collaborating with your team, you will develop and implement Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure safe and consistent outcomes.
Your BackgroundWe are looking for candidates with strong experience in developing and implementing maintenance strategies. You should have formal qualifications and a strong understanding of Root Cause Analysis, along with excellent communication, coaching, consultation, and negotiation skills. The ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels is essential, as is a hands-on, can-do attitude. Additionally, you should be willing to travel to project sites and ideally have experience in the Energy Sector with a solid understanding of Electrical/Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering.
