We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contracts Administrator to join our team on a remote NSW infrastructure project.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contracts and subcontracts, as well as supply chain management.
- Ensure contract compliance with contractual provisions and notice time frames.
- Update and maintain accurate registers (procurement, commercial clarification, correspondence, variation, site instruction, extension of time claims).
- Understand tender strategy regarding procurement/supply chain engagement.
- Raise purchase orders based on approved contract values.
- Negotiate and execute vendor agreements.
- Review progress claims/invoices as submitted by subcontractors and ensure timely response to payment claims/payment of invoices as required under agreements.
- Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, commerce, law, construction management, or civil engineering.
- At least 5+ years of experience in a similar position with a civil contractor.
- DIDO or FIFO experience on large-scale remote infrastructure projects.
- Compiling quantity take-off/bills of materials for packages (desirable).
- Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret, and administer contracts and subcontracts.
- Solid understanding of cost control and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
