Senior Aboriginal Heritage Manager

This is a leadership position that requires strong project management and collaboration skills to oversee and deliver Aboriginal heritage projects throughout NSW.
Main Responsibilities:- Leading the delivery of heritage projects, including overseeing project teams, planning and execution of fieldwork, managing timelines, and ensuring that project objectives are met.
- Engaging with clients to understand their project requirements, providing expert advice on heritage and archaeological matters, and developing tailored solutions that meet client needs while adhering to regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Effective stakeholder engagement with internal and external stakeholders relevant to the role.
- Presenting technical findings and relaying information to non-technical individuals, including clients and community.
- Well-versed in heritage and archaeological legislation, regulations, and guidelines, and applying this knowledge to assess significance, develop conservation strategies, and mitigate impacts on heritage and archaeological values.
- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff, helping to develop their skills and expertise in heritage and archaeological management and consultancy.
