The successful candidate will work closely with our team of experienced instructors to deliver engaging and effective swim lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners. You will lead swim lessons for participants of various ages and abilities, following established curriculum and safety guidelines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering engaging swim lessons that cater to different age groups and abilities
  • Providing individualized instruction and feedback to help participants develop proper swimming techniques
  • Maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Communicating effectively with participants and colleagues
  • Maintaining accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessments

Qualifications and experience:

We are looking for individuals who hold a Swim Teacher qualification from a recognized organization, such as Royal Life Saving Society Australia (RLSSA), Austswim Australia, or the Australian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association. A Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate and NSW Working with Children Check Clearance are also required.

As part of the recruitment process, pre-employment checks such as a full-functional medical assessment and professional reference checks will be conducted in line with requirements of the position.
