Senior Environmental Compliance Specialist

Key responsibilities of this position include clearing and ground disturbance activities requiring assessment via the Ground Disturbance Permitting process, ensuring all appropriate pre-mining surveys, constraints, and risks have been clearly identified and permission to undertake disturbance activities is authorised.

This role involves undertaking ground disturbance permits for the Pre-Mining team on a 3-month contract. The successful candidate will work full-time or a minimum of 3 days per week based on site requirements.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in GIS
  • Understanding of environmental regulations
  • Prior experience in environmental permits (preferable)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (ability to communicate both written and verbally permit conditions to customers)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (if required)
  • Australian working rights

The ideal candidate should have prior experience in environmental permits, proficiency in GIS, and understanding of environmental regulations.
