Job Title: Finishing Foreman

CGC Recruitment is seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman to join a large mid-tier builder in Brisbane. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the finishing works on a $250M residential project located just outside the CBD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of finishing tradespeople, including carpenters, joiners, and painters.
  • Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and in accordance with the project's quality management plan.
  • Monitor and control costs, including materials and labor, to ensure the project is delivered within budget.
  • Collaborate with the project manager and other stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency on site.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Finishing Foreman in a residential construction environment.
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
