Culturally Sensitive Employment Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Employment Consultant. This role offers the chance to make a positive impact in the community while working closely with clients to overcome employment barriers.
The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be able to build and maintain relationships with local employers and community groups, and develop tailored plans for clients to achieve successful employment outcomes.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Provide culturally safe and holistic services to clients
- Build and maintain relationships with local employers and community groups
- Develop tailored plans for clients to achieve successful employment outcomes
- Empower clients by developing their employability skills and providing support to employers and participants
To be successful in this role, you will need to identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and have a strong understanding of the community and its needs.
- Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with local employers and community groups
