This is a role open only to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants, as per the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.

As an Employment Consultant, you will work closely with Mob, supporting them with culturally safe and holistic services that help them overcome barriers and secure sustainable, ongoing employment.

You will:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups
  • Develop tailored plans for Mob to create successful and culturally safe pathways for employment
  • Empower Mob by positively developing and enhancing their employability skills to find meaningful employment and provide support to employers and participants
  • Deliver a quality service whilst adhering to all contractual and compliance requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • To identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
  • A current probationary or open Australian Drivers Licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Willingness to complete a National Police check
  • Ability to pass a Working with Children's check
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
