Cashiers and receptionists are key players in any organization's success, providing a vital link between customers and the business. Their duties span a wide range of responsibilities, including customer interactions, administrative tasks, and communication.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet showroom visitors and determine the purpose of their visit.
- Direct visitors to the relevant department or introduce them to a salesperson.
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct callers to the correct department or individual.
- Maintain effective communication with callers and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Collect basic demographic information about each customer and enter it into the prospect tracking system.
- Generate weekly reports for managers and communicate important messages in a timely fashion.
- Create memos, correspondence, and other documents as required.
- Provide clerical support as needed and handle payments, paperwork, and filing with care.
- No prior experience or training is necessary.
- The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos is essential.
- Able to write simple correspondence effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills are a must.
- Basic mathematical skills are required.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written or oral form.
