Job Overview

This role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, offering the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects that drive sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage commercial solar installation sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to high standards.
  • Install, test, and commission solar PV systems, including battery energy storage.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to teams and apprentices.
  • Maintain clear communication with project and operations teams.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and provide training.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors for project success.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • SAA Accreditation – Design & Install Grid-Connected Systems (PV).
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Current A-Class Electrical Licence.
  • Proven leadership skills, ability to manage teams, mentor, and drive accountability.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Thrives in high-pressure environments, responds to urgent demands.
  • Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems.
  • Commitment to safety, quality assurance, customer service.
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders.
