Job Opportunity: Strategic Change Driver

The Australian Submarine Corporation's Transformation Office is seeking a high-calibre professional to lead meaningful change. As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping long-term, sustainable improvements across technology, information, processes, and people.

This high-impact team within the Strategy & Transformation function collaborates with specialists across disciplines to deliver transformation initiatives that unlock real value and support strategic outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience navigating complex environments and driving meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements, processes, and data needs through workshops and structured engagement.
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable outcomes and technical specifications that guide solution design and delivery.
  • Conduct current state assessments and develop future state models—including operating models, workflows, and process maps—to identify and articulate opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform gap analyses between current and future states to support strategic decision-making and transformation planning.
  • Contribute to business case development by supporting cost-benefit analyses, risk assessments, and value propositions that underpin investment decisions.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of business outcomes, including data migration, integration, and reporting requirements.
