The Opportunity:

Davidson is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team for a 9-month contract based in Richmond. This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in cybersecurity, working with cutting-edge technologies to safeguard our digital assets and infrastructure.

The Role:

As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the operation, configuration, and support of key cybersecurity technologies. Your role will involve ensuring the security and integrity of our IT environment, working on support tickets, and collaborating with teams to enhance security measures across the business.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Operate, configure, and support security technologies including Okta, Crowdstrike, Mimecast, Netskope, and Rapid7.
  • Manage and resolve security-related support tickets, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement security policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze security events to detect and respond to incidents.
  • Maintain and optimize the performance of security tools and systems.
  • Provide expert advice and support to enhance our cybersecurity posture.
