About the Role

The Busy Group is seeking a highly skilled Defence Transition Specialist to join our team. As a Defence Transition Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing career coaching and individualized job transition package recommendations to transitioning Eligible Australian Defence Force (ADF) Members from their military to civilian life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide career coaching and guidance to transitioning ADF members to help them upskill, cross-skill, or transition to a new occupation.
  • Develop and implement individualized job transition packages, including recommendations for training and education pathways and options.
  • Work closely with transitioning ADF members to understand their career goals and provide tailored support to achieve those goals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services and support to ADF members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in service delivery.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the employment services industry or community services sector.
  • Cert IV in Career Development (or similar) or minimum 4 years full-time ADF service in the preceding 5 years.
  • Baseline Security Clearance or ability to obtain.
  • Ability to obtain a Blue Card and National Police Check.
  • Open drivers license.
