About This Role

We are seeking a Project Officer to join our Strategy, Planning and Performance team.

  • Supports the delivery of strategic business initiatives through activities including policy research, environmental scans, qualitative and quantitative analysis, support and preparation for consultation and workshop facilitation.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of the healthcare system and/or strong structured problem solving, data collection and qualitative and quantitative analysis skills to identify and solve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Undertakes analysis of hospital activity and other related data to support project managers with identifying issues and solutions to improve effectiveness, experience and efficiency of care.
  2. Supports stakeholder consultation through liaison, scheduling and content preparation.
  3. Supports facilitation of planning workshops with various teams and divisions across the hospital.
  4. Prepares executive and board reporting in collaboration with project managers and/or director to convey key outcomes and risks of program and project delivery.
Requirements:

We welcome candidates from consulting in health and social policy, public sector and NFP, or clinicians wanting to develop or build their project experience. A strong values alignment is required.
