Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial activities are completed accurately and on time. Conduct thorough monthly balance sheet reviews and provide final approval.
  • Tax and Compliance: Oversee the tax and compliance obligations of all entities, collaborating with local outsourced accounting providers. Assist with the implementation and ongoing review of transfer pricing policies to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Treasury: Manage debt covenant reporting and other banking-related reporting requirements. Monitor and ensure the funding needs of each entity are met, facilitating additional funding where necessary.

Requirements:

  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise with essential financial tools, including Xero, intermediate-level Excel, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and cloud-based financial reporting systems.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting, with CA or CPA certification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a senior finance role, showcasing a strong background in accounting.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of relevant accounting standards and practices.
  • Time Management: Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive and adaptable, capable of demonstrating initiative and solving problems efficiently.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and confident communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in managing relationships with stakeholders.
