Lead Education Excellence
The successful applicant will be responsible for shaping the future of nursing excellence by leading, inspiring and elevating education across a premier health network.
This role involves developing, rolling out and refining comprehensive learning pathways for all staff, from new graduates to undergraduate nursing placements.
As an educational champion, you will offer expert leadership, mentorship and support to our team of clinical nurse educators, fostering continuous professional growth.
You will partner with tertiary institutions and specialty nurse educators to co-create, launch and assess postgraduate nursing courses.
In this role, you will lead the planning and deployment of targeted educational strategies for the ward/unit/service nursing workforce, ensuring alignment with district-wide excellence standards.
You will benefit from direct backing by the hospital executive team, with tailored professional development and a structured job-share handover to set you up for success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive learning pathways for all staff.
- Offer expert leadership, mentorship and support to clinical nurse educators.
- Partner with tertiary institutions and specialty nurse educators to create postgraduate nursing courses.
- Lead the planning and deployment of targeted educational strategies for the ward/unit/service nursing workforce.
Requirements:
- Hold or be eligible for current AHPRA registration as a registered nurse.
- Post-registration nursing/midwifery clinical or education qualifications relevant to the clinical area.
- Demonstrated experience in a management role.
