Key Role Summary

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the efficient and safe operation of our workshop.

Job Responsibilities

As a seasoned leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of skilled tradespeople, including plant mechanics, apprentices, and trades assistants. Your key responsibilities will include allocating work effectively, ensuring project timelines are met while maintaining the highest quality standards.

You will be accountable for promoting and demonstrating safety behaviours, fostering a positive work environment, and providing guidance and support to your team members as needed.

Additionally, you will be expected to:

  • Implement effective work order management systems to drive productivity and efficiency
  • Maintain strong relationships with external vendors and stakeholders
  • Oversee roster management and approve timesheets
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement process enhancements
