Rail Operations and Safety Planner

Rail operations planners are responsible for managing rail operations and planning in a safe, efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Safety Management: Embed a safety culture throughout the business and operations. Mentor employee consultation programs to improve site safety and health. Develop and promote the Safety Management Plan and risk management processes.
- Operational Leadership: Create weekly schedules based on customer requirements. Path and amend services to align with the program. Manage QUBE CONNECT for loading of services and ensure data integrity.
- Financial Management: Implement plans to manage resources for quality, efficiency, and costs. Manage revenue and costs to meet or exceed the rail business plan.
- Customer Management: Manage customer accounts to meet contract needs and expectations. Lead customer business review processes.
This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in rail operations.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable team player with a can-do attitude.
The ideal candidate will be commercially astute, have a high level of customer service, and a strong commitment to safety.
