Teaching in Medical Science
About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated academic to contribute to the delivery and development of our Medical Science programs. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students within the Medical Science discipline.
- Developing curriculum that aligns with industry standards
- Delivering lectures, tutorials, laboratories and practical sessions
- Coordinating units and assessing student learning
In this role, you will have the opportunity to teach a wide range of medical science subjects, including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology and pharmacology. You will also be expected to pursue research and scholarly activity aligned with your expertise.
Key Responsibilities- To coordinate and deliver lectures, tutorials, laboratories and practical sessions to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Medical Science, Bachelor of Medical Science (Pathway to Medicine), Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (Honours) and Bachelor of Nutrition.
- To develop and implement curriculum that is aligned with industry standards and academic excellence.
- To assess student learning and provide feedback to students on their performance.
