The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and leadership to our finance team. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving business growth, improving financial performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of the finance function, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the Chief Financial Officer and Directors, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Supervise the Account Receivable and Account Payable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
  • Manage and monitor cash flow, ensuring the business has sufficient liquidity to meet its financial obligations.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and improve profitability.
  • Provide expert advice on financial matters, including taxation, accounting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead and motivate the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, without compromising customer service standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar finance role, preferably in a manufacturing or construction industry.
  • Tertiary qualification in accountancy or substantial previous financial management experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and financial software packages such as Xero.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a strong focus on meeting compliance and contractual deadlines.
