Competitions Coordinator Opportunity

Penrith and Districts Junior Rugby League is seeking a dedicated and organized Competitions Coordinator to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and conflict resolution skills, as well as experience working with volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage administrative and operational requirements for the Junior League competition
  • Oversee online platforms for the District Junior Rugby League
  • Work closely with the NSWRL Competition Coordinator to improve operational performance
  • Lead communication with Junior League Executives, Junior Clubs, and competition stakeholders
  • Assist with competition draw management and promotion
  • Coordinate and promote competition rules
  • Oversee MySideline requirements, including registrations and photo uploads
  • Liaise with local stakeholders and District Clubs for media opportunities
  • Assist the Penrith and Districts Junior Rugby League Board and NSWRL CCC as required
  • Coordinate events and administration officer tasks
  • Take minutes from board/general meetings
  • Attend stakeholder meetings with the Junior League General Manager
  • Manage bookkeeping, including financial reports and invoicing

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Competency in Windows, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Knowledge of junior rugby league and MySideline an advantage
  • Previous experience working with volunteers highly regarded

Typically working Monday to Friday, this role requires flexibility to work weekends, nights, and special events as required.
