Job Description

We are seeking highly skilled individuals to join our team of Patient Transport Officers. This role is based in Bankstown, NSW and involves providing high-quality patient care and treatment during on-road transport of patients with a wide variety of medical conditions.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure and have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

  • Patient Assessment and Intervention: Perform patient assessment and intervention on-road to ensure the best possible patient care and treatment.
  • High-Quality Patient Care: Provide high-quality patient care and treatment during on-road transport, prioritizing the safety and well-being of patients at all times.
  • Positive Working Relationships: Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of any intervention in accordance with all relevant guidelines and regulations, and within prescribed scope of practice.

Key qualifications and experience include:

  • Qualified as a Patient Transport Officer (PTO) – Minimum of qualification of Cert III in Nonemergency Patient Care.
  • Experience working in the NEPT sector in an equal role desirable but not essential.
  • Hold a FULL Victorian Drivers licence and have the ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions.
