Job Opportunity for Respiratory Physician in Bega

The position of a Respiratory Physician is available in a busy General Respiratory Practice located in Bega. As the sole Respiratory Physician in the Bega Valley, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the health and well-being of the community.

Bega is a beautiful coastal town with easy access to the South East Regional Hospital, where bronchoscopies and pleural procedures are currently performed. You will have the opportunity to participate in multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) for lung cancer and interstitial lung disease at The Canberra Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital respectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care as a Respiratory Physician
  • Perform fibreoptic bronchoscopy, lung ultrasound, pleural aspiration, insertion of pleural catheters, and insertion of indwelling pleural catheters
Requirements:
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP)
  • Advanced training in respiratory medicine
