We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Specialist in Respiratory and/or Sleep Medicine to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patients with a wide range of respiratory and sleep disorders, contributing to ongoing research projects, and participating in teaching and quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities Provide expert clinical care to patients with respiratory and sleep disorders, including asthma, COPD, sleep apnea, and other complex conditions.
Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement appropriate interventions.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of respiratory and sleep medicine.
Engage in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals.
Contribute to quality assurance and improvement activities within the practice.
Requirements Medical degree with specialisation in Respiratory and/or Sleep Medicine.
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience in managing a broad range of respiratory and sleep disorders.
Strong clinical, research, and teaching skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
