
EHS Specialist

We are seeking a skilled EHS Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
About the Role
- The successful applicant will conduct risk assessments and site inspections, ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards, lead training programs, support incident investigations, and drive continuous improvement in EHS practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective EHS strategies to minimize risks and promote a culture of safety
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and take corrective action as needed
- Maintain accurate records of EHS performance and provide regular reports to management
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver EHS training programs
- Analyze incident data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety)
- Proven experience in an EHS role, preferably in the energy sector
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., WHS, ISO 14001)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
