About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist Cardiology to join our team at The State of Queensland. As a key member of our Cardiology department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients and contributing to the development of our cardiac services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the HHS Clinical Director Cardiology to ensure the delivery of specialist services that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and enhance the overall quality of care.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practice in cardiology.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and other stakeholders on cardiology-related matters.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualification in Cardiology or a related field.
  • Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Proven experience in cardiology, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
