We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist Cardiology to join our team at The State of Queensland. As a key member of our Cardiology department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients and contributing to the development of our cardiac services.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with the HHS Clinical Director Cardiology to ensure the delivery of specialist services that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and enhance the overall quality of care.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practice in cardiology.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and other stakeholders on cardiology-related matters.
- Postgraduate qualification in Cardiology or a related field.
- Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Proven experience in cardiology, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A competitive remuneration package, including a salary range of up to $497,941 p.a. (L25 – L27) or up to $455,624 p.a. (L18 – L24).
- Employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%).
- Annual leave loading (17.5%).
