About this Role

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. As a key member of our data center design engineering group, you'll be responsible for leading electrical designs, collaborating with other disciplines, and ensuring that our data centers are designed to meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and efficiency.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a global team. Key Responsibilities

  • Leading electrical designs for data centers across the APAC region, including MV infrastructure, generators, UPS, switchgear, transformers, and earthing.
  • Collaborating with other disciplines to ensure coordinated construction documents and high-quality results.
  • Participating in site selection reviews to identify optimal locations for data centers.
  • Designing critical equipment and systems to meet quality and budget standards.
  • Specifying electrical equipment with regional vendors and manufacturers.
  • Working with utilities and local agencies to ensure compliance with IEC standards, regional codes, and jurisdictional requirements.
  • Reviewing and approving equipment submittals to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Defining project scope and supporting during construction to ensure successful delivery.
  • Testing and validating electrical systems with commissioning teams.
  • Managing multiple projects across regions to meet deadlines and quality standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of experience in mission-critical electrical design.
  • Strong understanding of regional code requirements across APAC for MV and LV electrical equipment.
  • Experience in cross-discipline design coordination and collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
