Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle BI Developer to join our team in Blackburn. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle BI solutions that drive business insights and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop Oracle BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements
  • Utilize Oracle Data Integration and Oracle BI Classic to integrate and analyze data from various sources
  • Work with Oracle Models and Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse to manage and analyze large datasets
  • Write and schedule shell scripts using Oracle Linux to automate tasks and run.dat files from ERP M3
  • Create detailed Oracle Reports for various business needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver solutions
  • Ensure data integrity and performance optimization within Oracle BI environments
  • Optional: Leverage Power BI for additional reporting capabilities
Requirements
  • Experience as an Oracle BI Developer or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Data Integration, Oracle BI Classic, Oracle Models, and Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse
  • Proficiency in Oracle Linux, particularly in writing and scheduling shell scripts
  • Experience with ERP systems, especially M3, and handling.dat files
  • Ability to create comprehensive Oracle Reports
  • Experience with Power BI is desirable but not required
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
