About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to leverage their expertise across a balance of technical work, project management, and client relationships.

We are looking for a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer who has:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in a consulting environment
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or related field, and eligible for / has Chartered Status with Engineers Australia
  • Eligible for Defence Security Clearance (eligible or have Australian citizenship)
  • Strong knowledge and application of Engineering principles, and high aptitude for planning and design
  • Familiarity with Autodesk, Revit, BIM, CarrierHAP, Camel, Microsoft Office Suite, Australian Standards, NCC, ASHRAE, and AIRAH

Main Responsibilities:

  • Performing general mechanical engineering tasks
  • Preparing and writing technical reports
  • Undertaking field testing or site-based investigations
  • Coordinating site or field technical activities
  • Consulting with design stakeholders
  • Explaining technical information to clients

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Supervising daily activities
  • Allocating and checking work
  • Providing feedback on performance
  • Preparing proposals and pricing information for routine projects
  • Sporting and coaching less experienced members of the team
