About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Culinary Coordinator to join our team at Uniting. As a key member of our residential home, you will be responsible for providing high-quality food services to our residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals that cater to the diverse needs of our residents, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Develop and implement menus in consultation with our Service Manager and residents, ensuring a rotating selection of options.
  • Manage food storage, preparation, and presentation, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless food service delivery, meeting the unique needs of our residents.
Requirements
  • Certification in Commercial Cookery or a related field, or demonstrated competence in catering services.
  • Experience in aged care, with knowledge of cook fresh/cook chill methodology.
  • Awareness of texture modified foods and controls, as well as HACCP principles and NSW Food Regulation 2015 requirements.
