We are currently seeking an Application Specialist to join our Innovations team in Perth.

The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in innovation and technologies within the energy market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive product knowledge, pre-sales and after-sales assistance, and tailored solutions to customers.
  • Provide external customer training.
  • Maintain a professional relationship with suppliers and customers, proactively responding to queries.
  • Alerting stakeholders to early issues or potential risks and provide alternative solutions.
  • Regular monitoring of performance against quotes.
  • Positive engagement with colleagues across all departments.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations on the product development, including the identification of product gaps and development of new improved products.

Frequent intra-state and interstate travel (as well as occasional overseas travel) may be a requirement of the position.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of existing products and other products on the market.
  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification &/or relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of control system design of grid power systems.
  • Knowledge of embedded generator regulation with DNSPs across Australia.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • An openness to alternatives and a solution-based approach to working.
  • Australian residency with unrestricted work eligibility.
