Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with project implementation and monitoring in the field
  • Provide logistical support for remote area trips, including vehicle maintenance and supply procurement
  • Collaborate with team members and external organizations to achieve project goals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of conservation plans and strategies
  • Participate in data collection and analysis, including camera trap monitoring and survey work
Requirements:
  • Living and working in the SA Arid Lands region, or having a strong understanding of the area
  • Cultural connection to the region
  • Ability to travel and camp regularly in remote areas
  • Valid driver's license and experience driving 4WD vehicles
  • Background or interest in environmental conservation and management
What We Offer:
  • Contract for up to 2 years
  • Competitive salary range of $66,590 - $70,968 per year (full-time, 37.5 hours/week)
