We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our mental health team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing high-quality, evidence-based care to individuals experiencing mental health problems.

As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will be responsible for triaging and conducting timely mental health assessments, collaborating with multiple parties, and ensuring operational excellence by assisting the hospital in meeting local and state KPIs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health nursing, with at least 5 years full-time postgraduate experience and an approved postgraduate qualification relevant to mental health nursing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing complex and expansive clinical consultancy services
  • Leading state, national, and international Mental Health nursing and specialist clinical groups
  • Planning care/service based on assessment findings, with patient input
  • Delivering excellent patient and family-centered care in a team-focused environment
  • Acting as a role model and mentor to junior staff
