Structural Steel Fabrication Opportunity

We are seeking skilled structural steel fabricators to join our team in Adelaide.

About the Role
  • This full-time position involves fabricating and assembling parts, welding them together, and metal finishing as specified.
  • The ideal candidate will have a manufacturing background in light steel fabrication and be able to work from drawings with minimal supervision.
  • Trade qualification is preferred but significant and similar fabrication experience can be considered instead.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Interpreting drawings and reading instructions before starting each job.
  2. Using personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times and maintaining clean, tidy, and safe workstations.
  3. Fabricating and assembling parts, welding them together, and metal finishing as specified.
  4. Attaching fittings, completing product builds, and conducting final quality checks against specifications.
  5. Assisting team members in other sections as directed.
Requirements
  • A manufacturing background in light steel fabrication is essential.
  • The ability to work from drawings with minimal supervision is necessary.
  • Trade qualification is preferred but significant and similar fabrication experience can be considered instead.
  • Supplying own steel cap work boots and appropriate clothing is required.
  • Providing own hand tools, as per the supplied list, is also necessary.
