We're seeking an innovative professional to develop and lead actuarial solutions in a dynamic environment.

About the Role

This role involves providing expert analysis and leadership to support our organization's sustainability and financial stability.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Analyse data to improve our understanding of performance and develop innovative analytical solutions.
  • Lead projects involving the actuarial team and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels within and outside the organisation.
Requirements

To succeed in this position, you'll require:

  • A Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia or equivalent qualification, and/or comparable experience.
  • A tertiary degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a relevant field.
  • At least four years' experience in an actuarial role in general insurance or workers compensation (life insurance may be considered).

In addition, you'll possess:

  • Advanced organisational and time management skills, with exceptional communication abilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and management - internal and external.
