Field Service Support

The role entails assisting service technicians with installation and commissioning of systems, machinery, and associated spare parts and wear material components. This involves performing on-site mechanical repairs, component refurbishment, and service activities related to OEM equipment components.

You will assist service technicians in investigating customer complaints regarding quality, tolerances, specifications, and delivered condition of products. Additionally, you will perform technical evaluations and analyze equipment and machine component failures.

Other responsibilities include working as part of a team to solve practical on-the-job problems and promote Metso Outotec products and services to customers. You will identify sales opportunities for crusher spares and wears parts and report to field service technicians and superintendents.

Requirements

  • A mechanical trade qualification from college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least two years of experience in one or several of the following industries: mining, aggregates, contract crushing plants, mining & construction, engineering / machinery repairs workshops.
  • Current motor vehicle license, physical fitness, and ability to pass random medical and drug testing.
  • Ability to travel within short notice and be away on site for extended periods and weekends if required.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
