About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering/Technical Leader to join our team in Sydney, NSW or Melbourne, VIC. As a key member of our energy projects team, you will be responsible for leading the technical aspects of our projects, ensuring we deliver value and technical certainty that exceeds our client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

As an Engineering/Technical Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the design, engineering delivery, digital engineering, and quality aspects of our projects
  • Collaborating with clients, business units, and delivery partners to share knowledge and expertise
  • Developing and implementing technical solutions that meet the needs of our clients
  • Coaching and developing engineers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
  • Managing multiple engineering disciplines and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong background in electrical engineering, power systems, or a related field
  • Professional chartership from a recognized professional institution
  • Experience working on transmission and renewables projects, including HV and HVDC
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to lead design teams
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
