Trainee Educator Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Trainee Educator to join our team at Goodstart Gladstone Beak Street.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in building a career that makes a positive impact on Australian children.

As a Trainee Educator, you will be empowered to forge your career while working towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe environment for children, families, and team members
  • Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart Policies, Procedures, and Requirements
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families
  • Actively contribute to the education program in the room and the centre team
  • Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement

To be eligible for this role, you must have a willingness and motivation to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care, a permanent right to work in Australia, strong communication skills, good time management and organisational skills, ability to work well individually and as part of a team, enthusiasm and a positive attitude, flexible availability, interest in early years education, and a valid Working With Children Check.
