Early Childhood Educator Trainee

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee Early Childhood Educator. In this role, you will be part of a dedicated team working towards providing high-quality education and care to children.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers a 38-hour workweek and a fixed-term contract of 18 months. You will have the opportunity to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, funded by us. Our team is committed to supporting your professional development and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe environment for children, families, and colleagues.
  • Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart Policies, Procedures, and Requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children and families.
  • Contribute to the education program in the room and centre team.
Requirements

To be eligible for this traineeship, you must not hold a previous Certificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school within the last 7 years. You must also have:

  • The willingness and motivation to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • A permanent right to work in Australia.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
