Community Care Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Community Care Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and presentation of Council buildings and public spaces across the Rockhampton Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining high-quality cleaning services that support the health and wellbeing of our community.
  • Delivering cleaning tasks such as sanitizing facilities, maintaining floors, managing waste, and ensuring equipment is clean and operational.
  • Securing premises during shifts and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to your supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience with cleaning practices and processes across domestic and commercial settings.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a small team demonstrating initiative.
  • Safety focussed with the ability to identify hazards and risks on the worksite.
