About UsWe are a well-established, locally owned early childhood centre with 10 years of experience in providing exceptional care and education to children between 0-12. Our team is dedicated to creating a nurturing environment that fosters learning, play, and growth.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher, Early Learning Facilitator, or Childhood Co-ordinator to join our team as a Childcare Professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- A passion for working with children and families
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
As a Childcare Professional, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing the classroom and greeting parents and children
- Conducting morning circle time for songs and group discussions
- Planning and organizing age-appropriate activities and lessons
- Leading small group activities and promoting skill development
- Facilitating free play and monitoring children's behaviour
- Assisting with mealtimes and promoting healthy habits
- Helping with toileting and personal hygiene routines
- Communicating with parents about child's progress and concerns
- Collaborating with colleagues and attending staff meetings
- Maintaining accurate records of children's progress
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our centre provides a supportive and collaborative work environment, opportunities for professional development, and a commitment to work-life balance.
