Early Childhood Educator Opportunity in Inner West Sydney

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join their team in the Inner West of Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-6.
About the CentreThe centre is a brand-new, purpose-built service located in Burwood, within walking distance to Burwood Station and close to local shops and amenities. Designed by a child psychologist, the centre prioritizes assisting children to maximize their true potential.
The service operates four locations across the Inner West, with a strong commitment to excellence and child development.
Role OverviewThis full-time role involves working in the Baby Room, creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes a child's development, growth, and well-being. Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing a stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Caregiving duties such as feeding and changing infants, adhering to individual feeding schedules and parental instructions.
- Monitoring and guiding child development daily, adjusting teaching and activities to support growth.
- Maintaining open communication with parents and colleagues to ensure seamless childcare services.

To be successful in this role, you must:
- Hold a valid VISA with full working rights in Australia.
- Have a Certificate 3 or Diploma in ECE, or be working towards one.
- Be available to work five days a week.
- Have prior experience working with infants in a childcare setting.
- Hold current certifications in first aid, CPR, child protection, asthma, and anaphylaxis.
- Have a valid Working with Children Check.
