Group Financial Director Opportunity

This is a senior leadership role in our finance team where you will be responsible for driving process improvement initiatives, steering a best-in-class finance team, and bringing commerciality to the operations of the business.

Job Description

In this role, you will oversee and manage month-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met. You will prepare consolidated month-end reporting, management accounts, and board packs with accuracy. Additionally, you will support budgeting and forecasting across the group, partnering with cost centres and divisions.

You will monitor performance, analyse variance, and provide insights to management. Furthermore, you will manage group cashflow, ensuring positive balances and effective forecasting. You will also oversee the treasury function, improving processes and strengthening controls.

The successful candidate will have experience as a Financial Controller, ideally in FMCG, Retail or Consumer Goods. You will have extensive and broad controllership experience and be able to lead a team to deliver results. Stakeholder engagement is a key strength, and you are comfortable partnering with all business stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • Candidate Profile - CA or CPA qualified finance leader
  • Experience as a Financial Controller, ideally in FMCG, Retail or Consumer Goods
  • Extensive and broad controllership experience
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
