Overview of the Gardener Role

This position involves caring for and maintaining various plants, flowers, and gardens. Key responsibilities include:

  • Gardening experience is essential.
  • Relevant horticulture qualifications are advantageous.
  • Physical fitness for labor duties is required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and follow instructions is vital.
  • Strong safety awareness is necessary.
  • A current driver's license is essential.
  • Ability to pass a police check and drug screen is required.

Responsibilities include weeding, planting, pruning, staking, raking, mulching, weed control, and operating machinery such as zero-turn mowers and brush cutters. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and time management skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
