Job Description:

Fleet supervisors play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of transportation services. As a fleet supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, scheduling, and allocation to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.

Your primary focus will be on maintaining high safety standards, driving employee performance, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to communicate planning, runs, and delays effectively.

You will also conduct proactive assessments of operations to enhance efficiency, manage payroll, driver's performance, leave entitlements, and truck servicing. Additionally, you will optimize resource planning through analytical skills and identify opportunities to improve current processes and revenue margins.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a similar Fleet Controller or Allocator role within the Transport and Logistics industry
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of OH&S, CoR & NHVR legislation
  • SAP, MT DATA, WMS & TMS knowledge is desirable
  • Prior finance & cost management experience
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • A continuous improvement mindset with good change management experience
  • Ability to build strong relationships internal and externally
